The Bagby Luxury Pewter Cricket Hipflask is truly an elegant, tactile and a beautiful gift to treasure for many years. I have long admired the humble cricket ball and have a couple displayed on my workshop shelves. I love the contrast between the cream stitching and the deep red leather and have pondered for some time how I could incorporate into my designs. The flask made in Sheffield from the finest Pewter fits snugly into the leather sleeve, giving protection and grip. The natural veg tan leather is handcut, hand dyed and polished with natural oils. The leather is hand sewn using traditional saddle stitch for strength and durabilty, the edges burnished and polished with natural beeswax. Initially the leather has a soft semi matt finish, but overtime will become silky smooth as a natural patina develops with age, use and love, rather like a cricket ball! The Bagby Pewter Cricket Hipflask is 'made to order' and therefore can be de-bossed with either a set of initials, name or date. Supplied in a linen drawstring bag for safe and treasured keeping.
